Ommeren Metaaltechniek (OMT) was founded in 1998 by Gerben van Ommeren. Originally started as a company mainly engaged in welding. In the beginning, the main activity is performing welding activities for customers in the region. Later, also light construction work was added to the supplied services. After some wanderings in the region, OMT established itself in Ede in 2007 at the Lorentzstraat. Over time, OMT has grown into what the company is today. The organization has grown in size, in 2019 1600 m2 of production area was added, and a broader product portfolio was created. The family business now has 25 employees, is growing fast and now serves the process industry and the automotive, agriculture, mining, transport, civil engineering sectors with high-quality products.

We work according to the most recent quality standards and are distinctive in the design and welding of assembled products and materials for a wide variety of industries. Our welders and operators are ASME IX and ISO 9606 certified and our welding procedures meet the EN 15614 standard. In this way you are assured of the best quality with OMT.
